We Are Giving You Reasons to EAT (Dark) Chocolate!!
Who doesn’t love dark chocolate? Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. 🙂
Someone rightly said “Chocolate is happiness that you can eat.”
But…..did you know that you can have dark chocolate and it will actually improve your health?
Oh, yes. It helps your body in various ways, don’t believe this? Take a peek!
- Dark chocolate has true potential in preventing cancer due to the presence of its high supply of flavonoids, it is said to move you away from the deadly disease cancer.
- Dark chocolate helps in putting your cholesterol under control. The cocoa butter contains proportionate amounts of oleic acid which is a heart friendly healthy monounsaturated fats and a couple of acids which help in maintaining the neutrality of the cholesterol.
- It helps keep blood pressure as well as blood sugar under control.
- According to a survey conducted, it is said that a small amount of dark chocolate can decrease your risk of getting a heart attack by 40%.
- 6 grams per day is considered the right amount to consume the dark chocolate. Skip those dark chocolates which are sugary!
- It is said to increase the mood levels during sex, and also improve your sex life thus, regulating your health too.
- It is said to be nutritious as it contains a decent amount of fiber, iron, magnesium, copper, manganese, which is the reason it is to be consumed in moderation.
So, do not shy away from eating dark chocolate and it is not age-restricted too.
Chew on some dark chocolate daily to get those cholesterol levels under control but do it in moderate levels.
Just make sure dark means over 70% cocoa solids content. Anything below is not really dark chocolate if we are being completely honest. The darker you can go the better it is for your health! 😉
